A truly unique Africa Ocean Adventure

 

Our a 60ft’ (18 metre) traditional Dhow, now located in Zanzibar, Tanzania was converted in Germany into an ocean sailing yacht capable of major ocean crossings.  Upon completion of her refit, she sailed around the world until she arrived in Tanzania where she is now permanently based.Her major refit included many new comforts and modern safety and navigation equipment being added to her.


Although she now provides modern comfort and electronics for a safe cruising, she retains the traditional Dhow design as well as the Lateen sail.

 

She arguable the most beautifully Dhow in East Africa, set up day and live aboard excursions

Layout:
Traditional Dhow deck converted to teak decking with inlay, raised cabin ceilings, central covered cockpit, two-helm steering, upper sun deck, large aft double cabin with couch, large fore twin/double cabin, two separate heads and showers, lower deck lounge and galley.

Fishing Gear.

We have a good range of gear and tackle on board, however we encourage guests who are serious about fishing to also bring their own favourite rods and reels and tackle for the fishing they are interested in!

All Flights, transfers, visas, travel and medical insurance, national / marine parks and reserve fees, all items of a personal nature, optional land based and other activities and fees, alcohol and specially requested Premium Imported drinks and all items not specified as included.
