YACHT CHARTER TYPES

CREWED

You charter the yacht privately for your own group of friends and family. These charters are fully crewed with skipper, chef and crew who will look after all your needs.

CABIN

Cabin charters are for guests who dont wish to charter a whole yacht for themselves. Guests can book onto a scheduled cruise and  book a private cabin on the yacht. This is a great way to experience a yachting holiday without the need to charter a whole yacht.  These Cabin Cruises are fully crewed with skipper, chef and crew who will look after all your needs.

 

BARE BOAT

This type of charter is where the guests Self-drive the yacht and are fully in charge of the yacht with no crew on board. One member of the charter group needs to be a qualified skipper. Guest will pay a basic charter fee, and all other costs associated with the charter are to the guests expense.

Set sail on a bareboat sailing vacation and enjoy exploring new cruising grounds from the helm and at your own pace without a set itinerary or pre-planned schedule. Decide on as many or as few overnight stops and daytime anchorages as you like and take time to make the most of every destination on your list. You can opt to sail one of our suggested itineraries in your sailing destination or strike out on your own in search of adventure.

Oceans Islands & Safaris of Africa acts solely as an independent yacht charter agent and broker. We do not own or operate yachts. We specialise in matching clients with carefully selected, independent yacht owners and yacht fleet operators, who remain fully responsible for the vessel, crew, safety, and delivery of all charter services.

Oceans Islands & Safaris of Africa, trading as East Africa Yacht Charters, acts solely as an independent yacht charter agent and booking intermediary. We do not own, operate, manage, or control any yachts or vessels.

Our role is limited to arranging bookings and introducing clients to independent yacht owners and fleet operators (“Suppliers”), who are solely responsible for the vessel, crew, safety, maintenance, itineraries, and the delivery of all charter services.
 

All bookings are subject to our Terms & Conditions as agent, together with the Supplier’s Terms & Conditions as the service provider. By accepting a quote, confirming a booking, or making payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by both sets of terms. Supplier terms will be provided and should be reviewed carefully, as they govern cancellations, amendments, liabilities, and operational matters.

All prices quoted or displayed are indicative only and provided in good faith. Pricing may vary due to availability, travel dates, number of guests, currency fluctuations, supplier adjustments, or errors and omissions. Quotes do not constitute a confirmed booking. No travel services are secured until full payment has been received and confirmed in writing.

While we make every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy of information provided, details remain subject to change beyond our control. To the extent permitted under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and applicable international law, we do not accept liability for errors, omissions, or changes made by third-party suppliers.
