SPEAR FISHING MADAGASCAR

One of the best things about Spear fishing Madagascar is the diversity of species and dive spots, islands systems and reefs available.

Nosy be where all our Madagascar spearfishing charters are based one of the most attractive destinations for spearfishing! With hundreds of miles of offshore banks, islands, islets, bays, and vertical drop-off’s, Madagascar is a hot spot for Sailfish and Marlin, smaller Dogtooth Tuna, Wahoo, smaller Yellowfin Tuna, Giant Trevally, Spanish Mackerel, and an incredible variety of reef game fish.

Nosy Be island is surrounded by an archipelago of smaller islands and huge unexplored coral reefs. Along with tropical forests, volcanic lakes, white sandy beaches, chameleons and lemurs, are some of the most attractive spearfishing spots of the Indian Ocean, like the Mitsio Islands, the Radama Islands and the legendary Castor and Leven Banks!

On our spearfishing Madagascar charters, you will have the possibility to hunt a huge variety of species. These coral reefs are home to an incredible variety of marine species, attracting predators like the mighty Dogtooth Tuna, Giant Trevally, Spanish Mackerel, Wahoo, but also the great Marlin and Sailfish, which patrol the drop-offs terrorizing bait fish and the underlying reef fish.

MADAGASCAR SPEAR FISHING

There are an unlimited quantity of potential spearfishing sites around Nosy Be and adjacent archipelagos and the diversity and quantity of fish present all round is mind boggling.

From bases in Nosy Be, our Madagascar spearfishing live aboard charters go to destinations such as Castor Bank, Leven Bank, Intermediary Bank, the Mitsio & Radama Archipelago and Cap San Sebastien.

For spear fishing, these destinations offer an incredible variety of species, from reef fish to the most iconic blue water monsters, such as dogtooth tuna, marlin, giant trevally, and so much more.

Our Madagascar spearfishing charters are done on board our catamaran yachts and we can cater for up to 8 guests depending on which yacht you charter.

We have a fleet of yachts available so we have lots of flexibility to meet our guest’s needs.
