The Leopard 46 combines contemporary catamaran design with comfortable accommodation and multiple social areas. 

The five-cabin guest layout is complemented by separate crew accommodation, while the saloon flows directly into the aft cockpit for easy indoor-outdoor living. 

A forward cockpit and elevated helm lounge create further spaces for relaxing underway or at anchor. 

Based in Zanzibar, the yacht is well suited to private charters around the Zanzibar Archipelago, Pemba, Mafia Island and the Tanzanian coast, subject to charter duration, weather and local conditions.

Assisted bareboat charters

For self-skippered charters in Zanzibar, the yacht operator requires a local deckhand on board. This is known as an assisted bareboat charter: you remain the skipper, with an experienced crew member available to support you and your guests.

The deckhand knows the yacht, its systems and equipment, as well as the local waters. His experience is particularly valuable where nautical charts may be imprecise and tides can vary by up to four metres. He can help plan routes, choose anchorages, monitor conditions, handle lines and sails, assist with manoeuvring and anchoring, and operate the dinghy.

As a local, he also understands fishermen’s customs, speaks the language and has contacts who can help with supplies and activities. He can keep shared areas tidy and look after the yacht while your group is ashore. His knowledge and practical support help make the cruise safer, smoother and more enjoyable.
