Essque Zalu Zanzibar is in Nungwi on the northern tip of Zanzibar Island.


Overlooking the Indian Ocean and located next to a lush forest, Essque Zalu Zanzibar offers direct access to the beach and ocean and features a large outdoor main beachfront pool.


There are only 40 rooms with views of the ocean or the garden from your balcony or a terrace. All suites are equipped with air conditioning, a mini-bar and feature a spacious bedroom, a living area and a bathroom with bidet and shower.


Essque Zalu Zanzibar has 3 restaurants and 2 bars so there is plenty of varity to enjoy during your stay.


Guests can choose from a variety of Spa treatments, massages and beauty treatments at Zalu, as well as sauna and a hydro shower room. Other facilities at Essque Zalu Zanzibar include a fitness center, an art gallery, a kids club for babysitting, and a range of activities are available at the resort  as well as in the surrounding region.

All 40 suites have a spacious master bedroom, as well as a lounge and outside terrace or balcony. 


Ocean Front, Sea View or Garden View Suite – all have a maximum occupancy of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

All villas have their own private pool, in-room dining and massage area, kitchen facilities and terrace or balcony. The maximum occupancy is as follows:
